Villa Zebra sits on 200 feet of open bay in Miami Shores, and it feels more like a private resort in Bali than a house in South Florida. Temple-style doors, wild orchids and a bamboo canopy set the tone the moment you arrive.
Inside the villa
The main living room is built around a large hammam-style lounge with carved Balinese doors, soft uplighting and original artwork. There are 8 bedrooms, so it works well for big families or a group of friends travelling together. A separate media wing has a movie theater and a pool table, and there is also a vintage game room for long evenings in.
Outdoor living on the water
Out back you have an oversized heated pool, sunbeds, an outdoor dining area, a BBQ and a bar, plus a large tiki hut right on the water's edge. It is the kind of garden where you can spend a whole day without needing to go anywhere.
Location
Miami Shores is a quiet, leafy residential area north of the Design District, around 20 minutes by car from Miami Beach and Downtown. You get privacy and calm, with the city still close.
